CSS in default template

Text overlaps in the default template. It looks OK in Outlook, but in Gmail, Yahoo, and hotmail (IE 7 and Firefox 2), the words overlap in the titles of the items. It looks like the font is set larger than the line-height or something. There are a lot of people using web-based email, so I see this is a big problem. I’m surprised I don’t see this issue on the forum already. I think the problem is that most web-based email clients require inline CSS, but you have the CSS defined at the top of the page. This means it looks fine in the preview in the browser, but doesn’t work when received in the email client. I realize that this can be fixed by creating my own template after I purchase the product, but we are evaluating different services right now and this makes it look like the emails were not tested in different email clients. |
